Category #4 – Best Outreach Programme

This category will be looking to award Mosque Leaders or teams from the Mosque that have developed programmes that either reach out to communities from outside of the normal users, or seeks to actively invite communities into the Mosque for either programmes or activities, and works towards being a charitable beacon both in and out of country.

Example: All community work relating to the COVID-19 pandemic – Mosque Iftars online for Non Muslims, Homeless support, elderly support service, Blood donation etc

Al-Manaar Muslim Cultural Heritage Centre is a registered UK charity that was officially inaugurated by HRH The Prince of Wales, Prince Charles, on 17th May 2001.

Their mission is to serve, educate, empower and inspire people to play an active and positive role in building cohesive and sustainable communities at a spiritual, social, economic and cultural levels.

Bashir Ahmed Masjid

Bashir Ahmed Masjid is the second largest purpose built Mosque in Hampshire. Inspired by their parents to serve the community, the founding trustees designed and constructed the Mosque, which opened to the public in December 2013.

Dawatal Islam Mosque

Since its inception in 2004, Dawatal Islam has continually served the Muslim community in Soothill, Batley.

Through offering daily prayers and a wide range of services, they have established strong ties with our residents and have strived to be of benefit to the wider areas of Batley.
